I’ve just realized something that could help different men to make themselves less embarrassing when peacocking. I’ve actually realized this while I was watching my secretly favorite TV series, Betty La Fea. Betty works in a fashion agency, which of course is full of “fashionable” people, and that’s where I noticed that men are equally victims of their own body types when it comes to fashion. No matter how much they deny it, or how unaware they are, the fact remains that they would look ridiculous wearing something unflattering for their “figure”.
Wouldn’t you know that men are also categorized into short-legged and long-legged. There is actually a simple solution for each, but some would probably think otherwise. On the one hand, short-legged men should avoid, as much as they can, wearing pants and jeans. It’s because their short legs are emphasized. Short-legged men should opt for high-waist pants, if ever they want to wear jeans, to create the illusion of length. On the other hand, long-legged men should wear as much jeans and pants to compliment their “figure”. Don’t wear shorts, unless you want people to really notice your long legs. To help those with long legs to divert people’s attention away from their legs, they should wear either a striking top or belt, anything to keep the focus away from the lower body.
Additional fashion tips:
You may already be familiar with these tips, as you might’ve heard them be advised to women, but believe me these are universal, so it’s worth mentioning them to consider them next time you decide to dress up.
Horizontal stripes make you look wider than you really are, so this would be advisable to skinny men.
Vertical stripes create the illusion of length, so if you want to look taller, wear pinstriped pants.
Shirts that have big patterns make you look also bigger than you really are, so I wouldn’t advise those big boys to wear shirts with colorful, bold prints.
Admit it. Men love fashion almost as much as women do. The only difference is a lot don’t know how to dress up properly, so they’d rather say they don’t care about fashion anyway to justify how hideous they look. Well, hope men out there who will pass by this entry will be a little educated.
